Réseaux et Objets Connectés

L’équipe Réseaux et Objets Connectés (ROC) effectue ses recherches sur les nouvelles architectures réseaux et systèmes liées à la virtualisation, à la mobilité et au développement des objets connectés. Les contributions de l’équipe portent sur la conception de protocoles et plateformes réseaux-systèmes, d’algorithmes pilotant ces protocoles et plateformes, et l’optimisation et la sécurisation de l’infrastructure de calcul et de communication.

Les domaines de référence de l’équipe ROC sont les systèmes embarqués, les systèmes distribués et les réseaux. L’équipe adopte une méthodologie de recherche faisant appel à la modélisation, l’optimisation, la distribution des algorithmes d’apprentissage machine et d’intelligence artificielle, et leur expérimentation. L’équipe se concentre sur l’impact des nouvelles technologies émergentes sur la conception de matériels programmables par du logiciel pour les objets connectés, les interfaces de réseau et les plateformes d’exécution, l’automatisation et la virtualisation de la pile réseau-système de bout-en-bout, et la conception de protocoles Internet et des protocoles de sécurité.

Le spectre d’application des solutions étudiées par l’équipe ROC va des objets connectés et des équipements utilisateurs aux centres de données en passant par l’infrastructure de communication sans-fil et filaire faisant de plus en plus appel à la virtualisation de ses fonctions de réseau et de service. Actuellement l’équipe concentre ses efforts sur les défis liés à l’orchestration réseaux-systèmes, aux protocoles de virtualisation et automatisation des réseaux pour la 5G et au delà, à l’interconnexion de systèmes fortement décentralisés comme les chaînes de confiance, à l’analyse de données de réseaux, à la sécurité et à la cybersécurité, et à la conception de nouveaux dispositifs IoT programmables et autonomes.

  • Résumé: INTELLIGENTSIA is a collaborative research project funded by the French Agence National pour la Recherche (ANR) public funding agency. In the era of network softwarization, INTELLIGENTSIA objective is to fast move towards automation of end-to-end network operations by leveraging advanced learning algorithms able to scale with large-scale virtualized networks and to meet control and operations requirements of massive IoT use-cases. The targeted scientific contributions are related to the elaboration of a dynamic state machine framework for modeling a network virtualization platform, based on clustering and classification algorithms. The learning framework is meant to discover in real-time known and unknown network states, as well as to anticipate reconfigurations of the network and in particular of novel IoT radio access functions in addition to device behavior and network backhauling. The expected impact includes the enhancement of network automation platforms considered by the Industry and the design of novel IoT radio access functions.     • Résumé: Le profil du joueur, y compris ses émotions, impacte la conception des jeux. Afin de proposer une meilleure expérience aux joueurs et de proposer un jeu particularisé, le jeu doit être adaptable en fonction du contexte global du joueur. Le projet vise dans une approche holistique qui combine à la fois l’individu et ses émotions, et, les influences de l’entourage qui va du bâtiment lui-même à l’atmosphère que dégage le lieu. . Il s’agit en premier lieu d’élaborer un modèle conceptuel du jeu pervasif adaptable basé sur les émotions. La deuxième étape sera de développer une approche d’ingénierie situationnelle du Système d’Information pour ces jeux. L’approche doit être appliquée au domaine des jeux pervasifs mais rester en même temps assez générique pour pouvoir être par la suite étendue aux autres domaines (par exemple, aux jeux dans le contexte médical ou d’apprentissage). La dernière étape sera consacrée à la mise en place de la plateforme correspondante.
